It still has a lot of goodness left, so I don&#8217;t like to throw it away, but the texture isn&#8217;t super appealing (like wheat bran). There are some traditional recipes meant to <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Okara_(food)#Human_consumption\">use up okara<\/a> (like unohana), but these protein\/nut\/chocolate breakfast balls are better and pretty easy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Original recipe (don&#8217;t remember where it&#8217;s from)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>1\/4 cup (64 g) nut butter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>0.83 cups (83 g) quick oats<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>18 g protein powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>13 g cocoa powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>28 g maple syrup<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 Tbsp milk<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>28 g melted chocolate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Mix and roll into balls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recipe modified to use okara<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>54 g nut butter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>25 g quick oats<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>25 g dry shredded coconut<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>50 g damp okara. Reduce somewhat if dry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>13 g cocoa powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>56 g dark chocolate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 (?) Tbsp milk if okara is dry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Okara ball recipe scaled up<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>216 g nut butter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>100 g quick oats<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>100 g dry shredded coconut<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>200 g damp okara. Reduce somewhat if dry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>52 g cocoa powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>225 g dark chocolate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 (?)
